Meet Our Coaches

Carla (Head Coach)

NCCP Level 2 Certified Coach

Carla joined our club after a successful career as a gymnast and coach in Brazil and Uruguay. She holds a B.A. in Physical Education and is a certified national judge, having previously achieved FIG Brevet 2 status. Carla played a key role in developing Rhythmic Gymnastics in Uruguay, working alongside the Olympic Committee to grow the sport.

With a coaching career spanning over three decades since 1990, Carla has travelled globally with competitive teams, bringing her expertise to the international stage. Since 2019, she has served as the Head Coach of Elite Rhythmic Centre, continuing to inspire and mentor the next generation of gymnasts.

Masha

NCCP Level 1 Certified Coach

Masha joined the Elite Rhythmic Centre as an assistant coach in 2022. With 11 years of rhythmic gymnastics training in Kharkiv, Ukraine, she earned the prestigious title of Candidate for Master of Sports. After relocating to Canada due to the war in Ukraine, she became a valued member of the ERC coaching team. Masha is a Level 1 certified coach in Canada, bringing her expertise and passion to the next generation of athletes.

Sophia

NCCP Level 1 Certified Coach

Sophia began her journey in rhythmic gymnastics at the age of seven and has accumulated seven years of competitive experience. In addition to gymnastics, she has trained in ballet and piano, further enriching her artistic and athletic skills. As both a recreational and competitive assistant coach, Sophia is passionate about working with young athletes, fostering their growth, and helping them reach their full potential.

Vlad (Ballet Teacher)

Vlad is a distinguished ballet artist and instructor. A graduate of the Kyiv Choreographic College and a laureate of prestigious competitions, he has performed leading roles with the National Ballet of Ukraine. Today, he shares his passion for dance as an instructor at InStudio by the National Ballet of Canada and as a coach for future figure skating stars. He also previously served as a ballet teacher for the Canadian national rhythmic gymnastics team (2023–2024).

Luna

NCCP Level 1 Certified Coach

Coach JooHye (Luna), a former national-level rhythmic gymnast with 11 years of competitive experience in Korea, brings judging expertise and a Master's degree in Sports Marketing from Loughborough University, UK. At Elite Rhymthic Centre, she is committed to guiding athletes with both technical excellence and supportive coaching to build skills and confidence.
